We do not sell or share your personal information. California residents can request to know, delete, or correct their data at any time. Submit a privacy request →
CleanIntell ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website (cleanintell.com) or use our platform, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have — including your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Depending on whether you are a client, an independent contractor, or a website visitor, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
Some of the data above is considered "sensitive personal information" under the CPRA — specifically precise geolocation (contractor clock-ins) and financial account information (handled by Stripe). We use this information only for the purposes described in this policy — verifying attendance and processing payments — and never to infer characteristics about you or for advertising. We do not sell or share sensitive personal information.
We collect personal information directly from you (when you sign up, add a building, upload documents, or message a contractor), automatically as you use the platform (usage data, clock-in geolocation), and from our service providers acting on our behalf (for example, payment status from Stripe).
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to run the platform — not for their own purposes. These include:
We may also share information where required by law or to protect our rights. Clients and the contractors who take their listings necessarily see the information needed to perform the service (e.g., property address and access instructions).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
We use only strictly necessary cookies to keep you securely signed in, together with privacy-friendly analytics that do not rely on advertising cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. When you first visit, you can accept or reject non-essential analytics through our cookie banner; essential cookies are required for the platform to function.
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, please submit a privacy request. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 45 days). You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.
We use your email address to operate your account and deliver the service — including account verification and login, service and dispatch notifications, billing and receipts, and responses to your requests. We do not sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own marketing. If we ever send promotional emails, they will only go to recipients who have opted in, and every such email will include an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing email will not affect transactional messages necessary to provide the service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
If you opt in to receive SMS messages from CleanIntell, we will use your phone number only to send transactional messages (such as login codes and job dispatch notifications). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, and we limit access to those who need it to operate the platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our platform is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated through the platform.
